My dear girl!

Now we have just been in the lake. I have been up in the cabin a while alone and gone around in Adam’s drugs and taken care of myself exactly how I would like.

Fritz is especially fit. Today he made muffins for lunch, and it was really good. He made them from “bran”. He is so well-behaved that he cannot be hurt inside the house- just must be outside.

Yes, this was just to say hello. You can take a little iodine with you. Otherwise you should take as little as possible. We will manage well enough. And remember that we won’t be long. I must be back by the end of the 1st week of August. There is then no reason why you all should not stay longer, for here is a blessed peace.
